Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pingio mobile app (Android and iOS) and the pingio.me website (together, the "Service"), operated by Pingio ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Pingio does

Pingio lets you save links and content you find online — recipes, videos, articles, products, and other ideas — and reminds you about them at a time you choose or that our AI selects for you. Some features (AI summaries, AI Coach, richer Knowledge Cards, priority reminders) are part of the paid Pingio Premium subscription described in §4.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Pingio, created via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Pingio.

4. Pingio Premium subscriptions

4.1 What's included

Pingio Premium is an auto-renewing subscription offered on a monthly or yearly basis. It unlocks AI Summary, AI Coach, richer Knowledge Cards, priority reminders, and progress insights, on top of the free plan.

4.2 Free trial

New subscribers are generally offered a 7-day free trial. Starting a trial requires a payment method on file with your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) — you will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged the price shown at signup.

4.3 Billing and auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and again at the start of each renewal period. Exact pricing is shown in the app and in your app store's purchase confirmation before you subscribe, and may vary by country and currency.

4.4 Cancellation

You can cancel anytime — Pingio does not have access to do this for you, it's managed through your app store account:

• Android: Google Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pingio → Cancel.
• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pingio → Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for (or, if you cancel during the free trial, until the trial ends).

4.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own refund policies — we do not process payments or refunds directly. Contact Google Play or Apple support, or request a refund through your purchase history in the respective store.

4.6 Price changes

If we change subscription pricing, the new price will not apply to you until your next renewal, and (where required by law or store policy) you will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service; or save or share content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.

6. Content you save

You're responsible for the links and notes you save to Pingio. We fetch publicly available metadata (title, description, image) from the pages you save and may use AI to generate summaries or insights about that content at your request — see our Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete; use your own judgment, especially for anything related to health, finance, or safety (e.g. recipes, workout plans).

7. Intellectual property

Pingio, its logo, and the app itself are our property or that of our licensors. We don't claim ownership of the links or notes you save — that remains yours or the original publisher's, as applicable.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account (see our Delete Account page for details). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pingio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, if any.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
